New Student Orientation Monday 8/31 3:30 - 6:10PM

On Monday, August 31st, 2015, from 3:30PM to 6:10PM in the Auditorium, MHS Student Leaders and Faculty & Staff will welcome all “new” students to MHS (incoming 9th graders and students new to Milton High School ONLY).  The purpose of the New Student Orientation is to help student get acclimated to the building, the schedule, expectations and the exciting offerings that are available to them at Milton High School.   

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION AGENDA – Monday, August 31st – 3:30pm - Auditorium

3:30 p.m. – Registration (Main Entrance Foyer)

4:00 p.m. – Welcome and introduction of the Student Leaders and MHS staff

4:25 p.m. – Student Leaders will initiate the student activities

5:40 p.m. – Cookout in the Courtyard Cafeteria (burgers, hot dogs, watermelon, chips & bottled water)

6:00 p.m. – Students report back to the auditorium for closing remarks

6:10 p.m. – Orientation will end

MHS Students Honored with AP Scholar Distinction

The College Board has released the 2014-15 Advanced Placement data, and 96 Milton High School students have been recognized as an AP Scholar!  The distinctions include:

  • 42 AP Scholars (students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams)
  • 14 AP Scholars with Honors (students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams)
  • 40 AP Scholars with Distinction (students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams)
  • 7 National AP Scholars (students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams)
