Final Exam Schedule and Expectations

❏ Students must take the exam during the designated times above. If a student misses a scheduled exam for any reason, s/he must receive administrative approval from his/her Vice Principal in order to make-up the exam. The Vice Principal will then follow up with the teacher.

❏ Students may not leave an exam early. After they complete and hand in their final exams, they may study or read quietly. They may not use any electronic devices (no headphones out, cell phones, Kindles, iPads/tablets, iPods, GameBoys, etc.) during the exam sessions.

❏ For students with school bus passes, the school bus will take them home at 1:40 p.m. using abbreviated bus routes that are already established and are posted on Milton High School’s webpage. The only exception is Wednesday, June 24th when there is only one scheduled exam; the school bus will leave Milton High at 10:30 a.m. Please note that there is no bus on Thursday, June 25th.

❏ The library will be open during exam times so that students who do not have an exam can have a place to study quietly.

❏ Lunch will be served from 10:10 a.m. – 11:10 a.m. (Friday, Monday, and Tuesday). There is no lunch on Wednesday, June 24th.

❏ Students are not permitted to linger/hang out in the hallways during the lunch period nor during exams.

❏ During lunch time, students may go to the cafeteria, to the library for a quiet study or to the field house to play basketball or watch others play (Friday, Monday, and Tuesday).

❏ Students who have two exams on any given day are not permitted to leave the building for lunch or any other reason. We do not have an open campus; therefore, all students must remain in the building during the school day.

❏ If a student does not have an exam during a particular exam period, the student does not have to be in school during that time. For example, if a student has a half-year course that meets first period, the student takes their exam on the Review Day/Semester Exam Day, Thursday, June 18th. The student does not need to be in school during the Final Period 1 time slot.
