Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards 2013 Winners

Milton High School Winners: 
The Gold Key is the highest level of achievement on the regional level. Approximately 7 – 10% of all regional submissions are recognized with Gold Key Awards and all are considered for National-level recognition and will go on to compete at the National Level.
Daniel Nabi – Two Gold Keys — one for his Photography Portfolio and one for his Photograph “On the Corner,” both submitted by Ms. Hughes
Charlotte O’Neill – Two Gold Keys — one for her Photography Portfolio and one for her Photograph “London 8, Lumier,” both submitted by Ms. Hughes
Amanda Liberty – Gold Key for her Art Portfolio submitted by Ms. Hughes
Dilanna Morrison – Gold Key for her Photography Portfolio submitted by Ms. Hughes.
The Silver Key is awarded to approximately 10 – 15% of all regional submissions.
Amanda Liberty –Silver Key for her Mixed Media/Altered Book “Boston is My Hometown” submitted by Ms. Hughes
Julia Clark – Silver Key for her drawing “Dandelion Crown” submitted by Ms. Hughes
Cara Genduso – Silver Key for her drawing “The Man” submitted by Ms. Derby
Madeleine Lachevere – Silver Key for her Drawing “Focus” submitted by Ms. Derby
Johance Liverpool – Silver Key for her drawing submitted by Ms. Derby.
The Honorable Mention recognizes students with artistic potential and is awarded to approximately 15 – 20% of all regional submissions. Unfortunately due to space limitations, only Gold and Silver Winning Artwork will be displayed at the State Exhibition.
Kati Bomback – Honorable Mention for her Mixed Media “Falling with Style” submitted by Ms. Derby
Julia Clark – Honorable Mention for her Oil Painting “Julia” submitted by Ms. Hughes
Cara Genduso – Honorable Mention for her Drawing “Stella” submitted by Ms. Derby
Casey Glynn – Honorable Mention for her Painting submitted by Ms. Hughes
Julia Keohane – Honorable Mention for her Drawing submitted by Ms. Hughes
Joshua Kery – Honorable Mention for his Drawing “Basketball” submitted by Ms. Derby
Dillana Morrison – Honorable Mention for her Photograph submitted by Ms. Hughes
