Foods I Students Use the Supertracker Website

Here is a post from Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, Elaine Lovett:

Although the months of November, December and early January may not be the best time to look into this website, try to be brave!  Foods I students recently completed assignments using the United States Department of Agriculture's great new website, Supertracker.  The website was opened in July of 2012 to help all of us get a better handle on our diet, caloric needs, exercise and activity levels.  The site is www.supertracker.usda.gov.  You can create a personal profile with your age, gender, approximate height and weight.  After that, you can keep track of daily calories with a food diary, calories burned from exercise, an online coach, etc.  It's definitely worth the time to learn more about a healthier you!
