The Debate Team Competes at Yale

Six representatives from Milton High School Debate Team competed with over 500 other students from around the nation in public forum debate at the Yale Invitational in New Haven, Connecticut on September 21st - 23rd.  The Yale Invitational is an annual debate tournament hosted by the Yale Debate Association, an undergraduate debating society at Yale University.  The students from MHS were divided into three teams which all went 3 - 3 in their competition.  Ms. Warn, one of the MHS Debate Team's advisors, shared that the students "received great comments for their knowledge, poise and understanding of the resolution".

Thank you to advisors Ms. Warn and Mr. Fitzgerald for working tirelessly to prepare these students for their competition.  We are extremely proud of the manner in which these students represented MHS at the tournament.

Students: Jack Caljouw, Cormac Conners, Tess Deaibes, Chris Dsida, Ailsa Jeffries, and Chris Ricciuti.
